Berlin-based producer and multi-instrumentalist RIP Swirl returns with new single “Perfectly Blue” featuring Brazilian-American singer Winter—listen/share HERE. The ultimate listening companion to the 00’s revival, “Perfectly Blue” is a heady, guitar-driven track that captures the euphoria of texting a new crush and melancholy drives to the mall. 

“Perfectly Blue” is the first new music from RIP Swirl since 2023’s “Let’s Make Out” which featured Ydegirl and appeared on YEAR0001’s RIFT Two Compilation (listed among DJ Mag’s compilations of the year). 

Since the release of his 2022 critically-acclaimed debut album Blurry, RIP Swirl, born Luka Seifert, has been continuing to expand his moody sonic world which marries his work as a producer, DJ in Berlin’s club scene with his lifelong relationship with the guitar and his analog approach to recording. 

His music has found fans among everyone from Gen Z rave kids to armchair techno fans, and he has since become a close collaborator and producer to several rising vocalists including Copenhagen’s Ydegirl and Ariana Manmoon of untitled (halo).

Luka continues to work fully out of his home studio in Berlin, immersed in his playground of musical instruments and creating endlessly with no agenda.
